Break-A-Way has a full service department for units that we sell. We will also work on units that have extended warranties. We will work on appliances that are still under the manufacturer's warranty, however, we do not do warranty work on units purchased form other dealers while still under manufacturers warranty.
Be sure and maintain your unit as suggested by your manufacturer so that maintenance issues do not cause you out of pocket expenses
I would dare to say that the roof of your camper is the most important thing you need to constantly check. It is very costly to repair. Your sealant should be checked several times a year. Cracks in your sealant will allow water to seep slowly into the unit. Left unchecked, when you do see damage, it is too late.
Your sealant cracking is the most common.
A limb or pine cone could prick your rubber membrane and start a slow leak.
Insurance will not pay for damage due to lack of maintenance and therefore will be an out of pocket expense.
It is important to note that silicone does not adhere to the rubber and will not deter water damage. To help with this we do carry Dicor self leveling sealant that you need for sealing.
The four corners of the camper is where we see most problems.
If your unable to check your roof, or not sure what to look for, bring it to Break-A-Way so that we can keep your roof in good condition.
Units that are under trees and not under sheds are very susceptible to damage.
Not to worry, that's what we are here for. We do complete roof jobs.
Like roof repairs, slide repairs can be expensive. You need to check at each end of all your slides to see if you detect any damage. At each end is where we see the damage begin. Your gaskets need to be checked on top and sides to make sure they are sealing properly and are not displaying any physical deterioration.
Break-A-Way can repair or replace slides.
